Cultural Sharing and Habitat Enrichment Day
Join Positive Change for Marine Life, Country as Teacher and WildBnb for a cultural planting and sharing session along the Brunswick River.
This unique community event is part of our Rewilding Our Floodplains program and brings together Traditional Owners, conservation partners, landholders and community members to care for Country together.
Across the morning, participants will:
- Learn about culturally and ecologically significant native plants
- Hear stories and seasonal knowledge connected to river health
- Take part in light, guided planting and waterway weaving with native riparian species
- Learn about wildlife habitat creation and monitoring, including the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly corridor project
- Connect with others who care about the future of the Brunswick River
This is a relaxed, inclusive and culturally respectful day focused on learning by doing, listening and sharing knowledge on Country.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- Address and parking instructions will be provided by email, but the event is on the banks of the Brunswick River in Mullumbimby.
- Please bring a hat, water bottle and anything else you might need.
- Please try to carpool!
