Our original event, planned for last year, was unfortunately cancelled due to flooding—apologies to everyone who had registered. But we’re back, and this time on February 14, a perfect day to show our river some love!
Join us for a half-day workshop exploring the newly revised Revegetating Streams in the Brunswick Catchment guide and how to use it for riparian restoration in the Brunswick catchment.
What to Expect:
• Expert presentations from leading specialists
• A hands-on field session along the Upper Brunswick River
• Plenty of time for Q&A over morning tea
Guest Speakers:
• Dr. Jo Green (BVL) – The science behind the species list revision and applying the guide to different contexts
• Shaun Morris & Craig Hart (Local Land Services) – Key concepts for river rehabilitation and regulatory approvals
• Liz Caddick (Byron Shire Council) – Using the guide alongside new wildlife corridor mapping
• Field session led by Jo Green & Craig Hart
